Whyte WydowClassic Rock Where is WHYTE WYDOW GONNA BE
August 27 My All Time Favorite Songwriters and Musicians of 2006/2007 ROCK ON!Well I have to say this...for the first time in my life i finally know which direction, if had the producer's, would take the music in.
For the past year I have been dreaming of my songs changing and become greater through expereinced producer's and musicians....
I have always covered male musicians and everyone agree's my vocal talent is within that range.
I give all my last 4 years of inspiration to the Canadian Rock songwriter's/musicians, producer's of Nickleback for being able to progress such great feeeling into thier SONGS.
I have woke up with many progressions, that with experienced producer's /songwriter's of of such groups like nickleback would be able to find but I alone cannot.
I have always wanted talented musicians to help become a part of each song by writing thier parts, taking it to the next level and progressing the song to success I am sure during the process vocals/song lyric can also progress.
I have been recording and singing root of the material, as I am a limited musician, I am a fairly good melody producer when the music has progressed.
Nickleback is a band I would love to have simularities in the manner of a female rockin out like them.
I am able to progress with musicians who know thier art...I only know where and how and when to sing the melody, and sometimes all 5 parts of the harmony as well.
If I had a producer like Nickleback, I would be where my heart says I should be.
My recording strengths are in Ballad Rock, and few odd dance tunes.
Well it for now

March 15 All About How I Got Here/The Vocalist StoryWell Hello.........
My Name is Jessy Davidson, of course that's my stage name.., Many years ago I was a closet vocalist who wrote lyric's to the elevator music FM radio used to play.
After many Kareoke's and contests, It was suggested I should perform in a band.
For 5 years after that my focus became find the band.....when it should have been find the producer...LOL
Anyways I knew very little about playing the guitar, but had read many many books on the business.
I met up with, my now Mentor, a fantastic Guitar player named "Johnny Horne" in Coquitlam BC.
He was very knowledgeable and spent 5 years molding a professional outta me.
He taught me how to use my vocals like I had never known before, showed me how to feel each and every note in a song, and the overall appreciation for all artists.
Because I am not a musician, I am but a vocal artist, he also taught me to allow the musicians the space involved to write music..and the patience it takes in the music and business overall..
When the 5year project was over he advised me to venture out......into smaller community to perform the songs I had written with him and songs I had finally written on my own.....with that he wished me the best of expereince and I relocated to Penticton BC....
The First Year in Penticton, I attended every musical jam or open mic available in the Okanagan, in hopes to find musicians.......
The First 3 months in the city....I had my second band.........Called Legacy......That year, 1999 Aug.
We performed all originals at the Peachfestival and the audience response was overwhelming.
Shortly after, the band dismembered........
In 2001....I couldn't find a group to perform originals and all the groups already had lead singers for thier cover gig's.......
I was bored and wanted to perform at any cost......I sought out the Mayor of Penticton and Parks And Recreation and asked if I could have the stage located downtown to have a friday night Jam....and with the help of Classic Guitars and the city the first Friday of MAY 2001 The Friday Night Gyro Jam commenced.
It is now Currently Known as the "Penticton Sunshine Caberet".
For the first couple of Fridays, it seemed to be just me..and the audience......a few weeks later I was blessed to meet many musicians from all over the world....One I remember very clearly a Sax Player from irerland......he blew the audience away.......
A few months later I met a drummer named Don....he hadn't played drums for 30years.....we decided to jam and he just blew me away, a drummer who was not afraid to accent, to flow, become a part of the song, not to mention he had incredible timing.
He knew a guy who could play guitar "LARS"
Lars was a star waiting to happen.....the next Eric Clapton is how many described him. Yet he was young and hadn't yet felt the disapointments of the industry or his youth yet..........
The 3 of us jamed for a couple of months, then we met Tim, the Bass Player......Tim had the groove.
We Became "Generations"
The More we played the more people asked for CD but we were like all bands BROKE..............
We were hoping for someone to come along and see what the audience says they see........
We started to reh....3 to 4 nights a week......but soon that would end.........Lars was 17 and a minor which interfered with the process.......the band didnt sound the same when Lars wasnt there and eventually it too dismembered.
Finding a Band is not easy especially musicinas who will love your songs as much as you and other people do..... and when the goal is to travel or record and promote.......serious industry stuff............so I entered many Kareoke Contests in hopes that my voice would be discovered then later my songs.
I entered the parent company of canadian idol just before it became Candaian Idol, passed the initial audition, then was informed my age exceeded the limit for this type of compitition, so I locally competed.
I was in the top 12 in the 1rst annual Okanagan Idol but again was reminded of my age.
As I got older and time went on i started to panic....I loved performing so much that it caused a hole in my heart not being able to perform for other's, and I wanted to Sing for people on a more serious scale and was being told my age was preventing that from happening.
It was 8 months before I sung a note...........then I relocated to Calgary..........during 2 months there I again searched for muscians and the same story.........
I couldn't locate a band that needed a singer, much less a rock singer..........
Anyhow now I'm in Cranbrook and there are 3 maybe 4 bands here, and again, nothing of comittment............
I have come in second 2 years in a Row, to a man, The Sam Steel Kareoke Contest, and I will be trying for first this year......
Last year I met Pete and we went in and the 3 of us recorded these songs a Just Music...we recorded 6 all together......live.....
I know the quality may not be the best but these songs are the only decent recording's I have.......I am sure if a producer or a band or artist is interested in these songs, someday....................they will succeed in the quality, and growth of every one of them............ Currently I have been auditioning for every Cover Rock Band in Alberta I can find just to be on stage again....even some of the bands are worried of my travelling back and forth, I don't understand why, If it's what I want to do because I am so passionate about the music.
I even think some feel I wouldnt be happy performing cover songs, or in some-one elses band but I tell you now..........I am happy performing for people..it doesn't matter where or what we perform as long as the people hear it.
I believe I have the voice and the energy of an 18 year old even tho I am 37 and I have written over 4 albums yet to be recorded...........
Anyhow thats it in a nutshell.................
For all those musicians I have been fortunate enough to know, I thank-you for all the experiences we shared......
The drummer Don is still rockin with me.......and we are now engaged....but he has now retired from the business...........
I have written 12 new songs that makes a total of 54 to date.
I encourage anyone to listen to the material and please give me your opinion........what do you think of my voice? the songs?
What do you think I should do, what direction should I take........
And if you are a band and like what you hear............HIRE ME........PICK ME.........
Hey what ya got to loose....................
ROCK ON EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
